Cancellation Right and Returns
Under the distance selling regulations you have the right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods. Returns will be dealt with as detailed below. We will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in a fully resalable condition. Postage will be at your cost unless the goods were faulty, damaged or you received the wrong item.
Returns should be sent back to us within 10 days of the date of purchase in their original, undamaged packaging. Once the item has been received by us we will refund the price of the item using the same method originally used by you to pay for it, or exchange the product if an exchange has been requested. Please phone us in advance to let us know your reasons for the return.
If returning goods, please ask for a proof of posting certificate from the post office as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.
If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item
Packaging
Almost all our orders are sent out in the boxes we received our stock in from our suppliers, and we also reuse many of their packing materials as well. We are able to gift wrap items if you wish them to be sent direct to the recipient. This will be charged at £2 per giftsheet - our gift paper is fair trade and handmade.
Prices and Payment
The prices shown on the website are all inclusive of VAT at 17.5% and are exclusive of delivery charges.
We are able to accept payment by credit and debit card, BACS and cheque.
Delivery
Any delivery timescales quoted to you are indicative only. We do not accept any liability for delayed delivery caused by any third party. Anything that does not arrive within one week should be notified to us by phone. We endeavour to send out gifts on the day they were ordered. If you require next day delivery, this will cost extra and orders must be phoned in by 11am on the morning before.
Privacy
When you order with us by phone, we ask for your name, address, e-mail address and credit and debit card details. A contact telephone number may also be required so that we may contact you urgently if there is a problem with your order or for the delivery company. All this is necessary to process your request or notify you of acceptance of your order.
Your credit card details are not held on the Internet or any of our office files and once the payment has been validated and approved, your details are deleted. This does mean that you will need to repeat your credit card details for every order but you can do so knowing that your details will be limited to those who need to process your order - in our case, myself and the shop manager.
