How the Leela products are manufactured
The Producers
Leela is in partnership with two fair trade organisations - Maya Organic and Wild Earth Nepal. Click on the various sections below to find out more information about these great suppliers .
Devi

Devi has been working at Wild Earth for two years and enjoys soap-making with the other ladies in production. She says that having a salary as her salary helps to support her family.
Devi has also been directly affected by the conflict in Nepal. Devi lost her 14-year-old daughter to the internal conflict in Nepal. She started working after this tragedy.
Having a job enables her to have a degree of independence and this is important to her. She appreciates being recognized for her work here at Wild Earth. The teamwork allows everyone to work in harmony so time at the office is more easily spent.
Krishna

Krishna is the head of packaging at Wild Earth and has been working here for three and a half years. His job is to work with the packaging and wrapping machine, but if he did not have this job he would still be in his village farming. He uses the money he makes at Wild Earth to educate his son and support his family.
Krishna’s motto is hard work leads to success. Here at Wild Earth Krishna appreciates working in a team and the family environment.
